Ellen M. Bendel-Stenzel, MDDr. Bendel-Stenzel is a long-time resident of Minnesota. She was born and reared in the Twin Cities and attended the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul and the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her pediatrics residency and neonatology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. She currently serves as the Medical Director of the Special Care Nursery at Waconia Ridgeview Medical Center and as the Associate Chief of Critical Care at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Her special interests include cardiac malformations and other associated problems. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and her family. She is married and has two children.
