Robert J. Couser, MD
Dr. Couser graduated from Central High School in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Following three years in the United States Navy Submarine Service, he earned a B.S. in electrical engineering at North Dakota State University, Fargo. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and completed his pediatrics residency and neonatology fellowship at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. He joined Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus, in 1984. His special areas of interest include clinical research, diseases of the lung, ventilator management, and brain function monitoring
