Mary Pylipow, MD
Dr Pylipow was born in New York and attended college and medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her internship at Case Western Reserve University and her residency/chief residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. After practicing pediatrics for 16 years, she completed a neonatology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, including time as a visiting research fellow at the University of Minnesota. She is married and has four children. Dr Pylipow has done research in newborn infections with Group B Strep, apnea and SIDS, and the long-term development of infants with intrauterine growth restriction. Additional special interests include cardiology and infant development. She joined Children’s Hospital and Clinics in 2006.
